Alex founded Honeycomb Media. Kat keeps the whole hive from losing its mind. Together they've grown creator businesses through every algorithm change, Google update and platform meltdown since 2016. Their gift is seeing exactly what a business needs to grow, then doing it, instead of handing over a to-do list.

From side hustle to hive

How Honeycomb was born

  • 2015Fresh out of college, Alex stumbled into virtual assistant work without knowing what a VA even was.
  • 2016Harrelson Media (now Honeycomb Media) was born, with Alex running 20+ clients as a one-woman show.
  • 2018 – 2020The first try at a full agency didn't work. The second one did, and the hive started buzzing.
  • 2023We cut our client roster in half and went fully exclusive. Fewer clients, deeper partnerships, better results.
  • TodayA marketing studio for creators, plus this shop of the playbooks we use every day.
